Dr Andrew Finney is a Reader in Nursing Research at Keele University. He divides his time between primary care nursing research and implementation science research. Andrew holds posts in Keele’s School of Nursing and Midwifery and School of Medicine.
He is the Faculty Research Theme Lead for ‘Health, Care and Wellness’ and has experience in epidemiology and clinical trials. He has most recently undertaken qualitative work for NHSE & I. Andrew has held NIHR pre-doctoral and doctoral awards and was awarded the Queen’s Nurse title in 2018. In 2023 he was voted one of the 75 most influential nurse researchers in England, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the NHS.
