I joined the North Staffordshire Medical Institute in 2019 as a Trustee and Institute Council member. The opportunity to contribute to the community and make a difference appealed. Becoming a trustee is a rewarding and inspiring role.
My professional background is as a Registered General Nurse in 1988 working at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge followed by the Countess of Chester Hospital, Chester. In 1992 I qualified as a Registered Midwife and remained in this profession for the next 16 years. Since 2005, I have been involved in Higher Education.
